Lunchtimes have been full of discovery! We’ve been experimenting with sand to find out its best properties for building. By comparing wet and dry sand, our budding engineers are learning which holds its shape best for moulding.

Time flies during DT week! While we spent more time with needles and thread making book covers than with the camera, these photos capture the amazing work produced. It has been wonderful to see the children so genuinely immersed in their craft.

Our Year 5 data scientists celebrated Earth Day with a ‘Google Quest’. They used AI to help protect a local village from flooding by tracking weather patterns and water levels. A brilliant look at how technology can solve real-world problems. Well done!

Well done to our Year 5/6 boys at tonight’s basketball! Playing 4 schools, the team showed amazing teamwork and spirit with a win, a draw, and a narrow loss. We’re so proud of their resilience and grit on the court. Great job, everyone!

Today's VIPs!

Year 6 visited the church to celebrate the centenary of Bishop William Temple. We explored his inspiring legacy and passion for sharing God’s word. The children represented us beautifully, showing great respect and asking insightful questions.

Year 6 became Bible detectives this week, exploring the Old Testament to uncover what ancient stories reveal about God’s nature. From themes of mercy to justice, the children showed great insight and shared some truly thoughtful reflections.

So proud of our girls’ football team tonight! The 4–2 score doesn’t show the incredible heart they displayed. Their teamwork and resilience were outstanding from start to finish. Every player gave it their all. Well done, girls!

We had a fantastic "Beach Mission" at the church! Pupils explored Bishop William Temple’s legacy through sandcastle building, circus skills, and postcard writing. Huge thanks to Rev. Alice and Paula for a great morning and the rock!

Yesterday morning, we visited the church for our "Blackpool Beach Mission." Children learned about Bishop William Temple through sandcastle building, circus skills, and writing postcards. Thank you to Rev. Alice and Paula.

Our RE topic is ‘Why is the Church a special place for Christians?’ This week, we explored the church to identify key objects and their symbolism. The children loved the matching challenge! Next, we’ll visit other faiths' places of worship.

We had a blast at our church "Beach Mission"! Pupils explored Bishop William Temple’s legacy through sandcastle building, circus skills, and postcard writing. Huge thanks to Rev. Alice and Paula for a wonderful afternoon.
