Today in Year 4 English, we focused on powerful vocabulary to describe The Iron Man falling from the cliff. We then used our oracy skills to share our ideas, focusing on sounds and strong verbs like 'plunged.' Well done, Year 4!
What a lovely afternoon for Year 1's Autumn walk! We're exploring the seasons, and had fun looking at the changing leaves, listening to the crunch, and finding mushrooms and Stickman. Great to explore the weather!
In Maths, we have started our new unit of Addition and Subtraction. Today, we have introduced part part whole models! The children picked this up and worked so hard!
In RE, we have been learning all about theJewish festival of Sukkot. Today, we made our very own Sukkahs! Ask your children about this at home!
In Maths, we have been writing numbers as words! If you get chance, please encourage your children to practise this at home!
Messy Church Club! Today we have enjoyed learning all about Joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat! We created our very own dreams coats using a variety of colours! Well done everyone!
What a brilliant job by St Aidans Ambassadors, we’ve been out litter picking in the local park. Keeping God’s world safe.
The children thoroughly enjoyed reading Neil Gaiman's Coraline this half term, captivated by the eerie atmosphere of Coraline's journey into a strange, parallel world. The story sparked fantastic discussions on bravery and family.
What a morning with Mrs Hargreaves. We had been using LbQ to test our sticky knowledge in grammar and have learnt how to add 10s across 100.
William is our reader of the week.
Well done to one of our PE stars this week - 14.10.25
“Sebastian had a great time this weekend with Aidan the bear. It was like walking down memory lane for his big brother Alex too.” Who will be taking Aidan or Adrianna home this week?
