In PSHE this week, our pupils put their teamwork and communication skills to the test! Working together, they tackled a fun practical challenge to build the tallest freestanding paper tower. Fantastic problem-solving and collaboration all round! 🌟

Year 4 scientists in the making. Our new unit is all about Sound 🛎 We used tuning forks to explore what happens when a sound travels through water. We saw the vibrations and some even made a splash! Great fun 😀

Year 3 worked with Blackburn Rovers on their GULP sessions! They ran an egg-periment on drink choices and headed outdoors for teamwork to boost stamina. ⚽

In Maths, we have been learning about matching objects! Understanding why they are the same 🤩

Outside getting fresh for PE. Learning how to dodge and work as a team. 🌅

This week in year 3 our star reader is Perez, he has shown great understanding of his chosen book and read multiple times over the weekend. 🥇

➕ Place Value 🟰 We have been making two digit numbers, up to 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Have a look at some of our pictures from maths this morning.

In science today we are looking at types of rocks, some even had crystals in them.

Today in maths we are partitioning 100’s 👨‍🎓 using the part part whole model.

Year 1 kicked off our new Art unit on spirals this week! 🌀 The children explored drawing spirals of different sizes using their fingers, wrists, and arms. We can’t wait to try out new techniques and mediums over the next few weeks!
