Today in music with Junior Jam the children conducted some Brazilian music.
We have had lots of fun in PE this morning, exploring the climbing frame, practicing our jumping and landing safely.
In Geography, we have started our new topic of Volcanoes and Earthquakes. In today's lesson, we have recapped continents and oceans, as this will link closely with what we are going to be learning. The children did a great job of recalling them.
In Science, we have been learning all about forces and resistance. This week we did an experiment to find out which material had the most resistance and slowed the car down. We had some interesting results and we enjoyed experimenting.
This afternoon we have been developing our gymnastic skills in PE with Olivia from BRFC.
Well done to our award winners this week - 21.11.24
We have been practicing writing S at our pen party today. Also drawing a picture of something that begins with an S.
We enjoyed Rhyme Time with Sam and Mrs Holden today.
Ready to start the Year 3/4 Dodgeball Festival at St Bede's!
Today we had a visit from two local PCSOs that came to talk to us about anti social behaviour. We discussed examples of ASB and how it effects the wider community.
We've had a magical time exploring the world of Narnia with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Your children have shown incredible imagination and enthusiasm as they've followed the Pevensie siblings on their extraordinary adventure.
We enjoyed playing with the ice today. We spoke about reversible change- the water turned to ice and then back to water. We linked this learning back to when we made cakes- irreversible change.
