Happy British Science Week! We’ve had a brilliant time opening our Curiosity Box to build and test high-performance catapults. From measuring to recording results, being scientists has been a total blast!

We’ve had some very busy bees during lunchtimes recently! The children have been getting stuck into a bit of gardening, crafting their very own seed balls and planting sunflower seeds. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for some giant blooms soon!

History Detectives! This afternoon, our class followed mysterious clues to uncover the past. The children then created fantastic drawings of the Ancient Kingdom of Benin. We're so impressed by their incredible investigative skills and creativity!

Today we are learning about magnetic force and how the magnetic field attracts and repels.

In science this week we are working on a challenge, it involves a lot of team work and resilience.

Our reader for this week is Texas. We are very impressed with her comprehension.

New Life in Bloom! As part of our Easter topic in RE, we have been busy planting cress this afternoon. It is a wonderful way for the children to visualise the theme of growth and new life. We can't wait to look after it and see how it grows!

Constructing the Perfect Start to the Day!

Science You Can Taste: Exploring States of Matter!

Happy British Science Week! Our class turned into a lab today, diving into Fizzing Fountains. We loved predicting and creating some spectacular eruptions!

We welcomed Caitlyn the vet nurse to Reception! The children learned all about animal safety and care, from listening to rabbit heartbeats to understanding the importance of microchipping.

Reception had a fantastic World Book Day in their creative outfits!
