Lights, Camera, Action! We were delighted to welcome a film crew to St. Aidan’s today to capture how we use Google in our classrooms. The crew was incredibly impressed by our tech-savvy pupils and their digital skills!
3D Printing Club! Technology and imagination collided this week as our pupils designed custom keyrings! They mastered digital software to manipulate shapes, solved structural problems to ensure sturdiness, and added unique personal touches.
Mission Accomplished! We’ve finished our class novel, Cosmic by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. The children loved following Liam’s space adventures and having brilliant discussions about what it really means to grow up.
We began the class novel ‘Holes’ lots of the class are excited to read this book after hearing some super reviews.
Bounce Forward session with Lyndsey on resilience and our strengths.
Today we hunted for a missing Bog Baby (eventually found in the office!) and created our own versions of the creature. A fantastic and fun start to our new book!
8.1.26 VIPs! VIPs enjoyed their well deserved hot chocolate and cake earlier this week. Thanks to Cath for the freshly made treats.
The VIP this week! We are very proud of you for showing our values across school. Well done!
What a treat at Breakfast Club! Miss Sprot and the children had fun using the Thermomix to whip up delicious banana ice cream. It was amazing watching frozen bananas turn into such a yummy, healthy start to our Friday!
This half term, we are focusing on basketball skills in our PE sessions.
The children thoroughly enjoyed creating their wheeled vehicles this week. It was amazing seeing their imagination at work! We raced this morning and Perez had the fastest car—well done Perez!
We’ve started designing and building our own vehicles. The children loved sawing dowels for axles, attaching wheels, and painting them to match their designs. Look out for photos of the finished products!
