Year 1's Reader of the Week - 15.1.26

A brilliant start to our 3D shape topic in Year 1! We’ve been naming, sorting, and exploring shapes all week. The children have done a fantastic job and are becoming real 'Shape Superstars.'

In RE we have been learning about Jesus’s Journey: where he lived and where he visited. The children made a temple to secure their knowledge, putting their learning into practice.

Year 3 news reports are in progress. We are currently writing the scripts for our very important news reports.

Our DT Project: Wheeled Vehicles! This week, we kicked off our project by researching and designing vehicles. We even took a local walk to survey the most popular car types and colors. Check out our work in action!

Racket skills in action! Yesterday, Year 4 joined Jake for a brilliant PE session. We learned the anatomy of a racket, perfected our grips, and worked hard on our balance and juggling skills. Look at that control!

Science was exciting today as Year 1 began their new topic, 'Animals Including Humans.' The class recalled over 50 body parts during our competition, with Miss Kay's team taking the lead. Well done, superstars!
