Today in Art, the children have been unleashing their inner comic book artists! We combined our literacy and creative skills to design some fantastic onomatopoeia artwork.

Billy has wowed us today with his physical strand of Oracy in colourful semantics , always making us proud.

Iremide is this week’s Speller of the Week for returning his sheet and for getting 5/5 on his spelling test! ⭐️

What a lovely transition day! ✍️ This afternoon, Year 1 wrote stunning letters for Mrs Hargreaves to read this evening.

Year 2 had a blast at Lytham St Annes today! Despite the wind, they loved beach games, ice cream, and the 2p arcade machines. 🏖️

Year 3's transition day in Year 4!

Well done to our Year 3/4 children who took part in the football festival! ⚽🏆 They all participated brilliantly, played with fantastic team spirit, and—most importantly—had great fun. We are incredibly proud of all of you! 🌟👏

Tonight our choir sang at Blackburn Cathedral. They represented school beautifully. For our Year 6’s, this was their last choir performance. Mrs Rey and I are very proud of you all 👏🏻

Science Success! 🪴 Today, Year 1 completed their Plants ‘Show It’ for Science. Working with partners, they used their oracy skills to present posters showcasing all their sticky knowledge from the past few weeks. We are so proud of their fantastic work!
