Year 2 had the best time celebrating their ALWAYS end-of-year reward on a giant bouncy castle today! We are so proud of their hard work, kindness and outstanding behaviour. What a brilliant way to make memories! 🏰
Year 2 took maths outdoors today! We gathered natural resources to build hands-on pictograms, then created tally charts to total up our findings. Super teamwork and superb counting! 🌿
Using Atlases to identify UK cities, capital cities and ten of the UK’s longest rivers🌍🏞️🇬🇧
Growing and Changing in Year 2! 🌟 In PSHE, we explored the outside of our amazing bodies. Building on what’s inside, the children did a fantastic job learning and using the correct scientific terminology for our external body parts. Great job!
Huge congratulations to Ribble: The Red Team for winning Sports Day! To celebrate, they wore red non-uniform today and enjoyed a brilliant afternoon of outdoor sports and games. I always knew we were the best! 🔴 — Mrs Egan
Year 2 had a fabulous afternoon welcoming parents and carers into school to help sew their own puppets. A huge thank you to everyone who came to support us! We are so proud of the children; their finished puppets look absolutely fantastic! 🤩
🍓 Healthy Choices: Our Final Smoothie Products! 🌱
The children then created their own smoothies, successfully applying everything they had learned throughout the week. The final products turned out fantastic, and the children absolutely loved them!🤩🥤
Yesterday, we started the day by practising our cutting and juicing skills in preparation for the afternoon🍊🔪🍋
Cooling down in the water! 🤩
Super writing in Reception, thinking about what they would like at the top of the beanstalk! ✍🏼🤩
In PSHE, we have been learning about where babies come from. We also matched the mummy and baby animals together.
