We set 7 butterflies free today.

At our Pen Party today we drew our own farmyards with inspiration from the book ‘What The Ladybird Heard’.

This afternoon we have been practising our brush strokes in the style of Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cezanne.

In PE yesterday we continued our striking & fielding unit, finishing with a very competitive game of Football Rounders!

Today in Science, we're diving into the essential needs of plants! We're conducting a fascinating experiment where we'll be removing one crucial element that plants require to survive.

Watercolour colour mixing in Art. We then used these techniques to create paintings based on what we could see.

Year 2 have been busy bees completing some tests today. We are also the Attendance HERO winners for this week! As a reward we enjoyed an extra playtime and had some fun in the sun.

Thank you to all the parents who have attended Talk and Tales this term! It has been lovely to have you and for you to watch your child’s oracy flourish.

This week was Miss Sprot's big birthday! We made sure she had a special day by singing Happy Birthday and making her a cake in provision!

In Maths, we have been looking at Place value to 50. We have been counting by grouping in tens.

In our outdoor area, we have been using the water tray to help us with our Maths! We have been looking at capacity and using the words full, nearly full, nearly empty and empty.

In Science, we have been learning all about Plants! In this weeks lesson, we talked about what plants need to grow and how they start from a seed or a bulb. We then planted our own seeds and are going to look after them and observe the grow over time!
