Yesterday in DT we started our hand puppet project. We used binca, a thread and needle to practice our sewing skills. The children did a great job and showed excellent resilience.
This week in Science, we continued our plant studies by exploring trees. We went on a local walk to examine different parts of trees, measured their trunks, and even made some bark rubbings. It was a great time, and we learned that every tree is unique!
We had a special visitor in class today.
Well done to our VIP this week.
We are all stars this week for great behaviour at the farm.
A huge well done to the children who received their Children's University certificates from Miss Burton this morning, recognising the hours they've dedicated!
Well done year 6! You have completed your 5k for St Catherine’s Hospice!
A fabulous day at Smithills Farm.
Just what we all needed…an ice cream!
Lunch at the beach
We have arrived! Sandcastles, sandy toes and lots of giggles!
We are on our way to the beach!! The weather is looking promising and we hope it stays dry.
