Number lines but practical! We made human number lines to help us understand that they can have a different number of intervals and therefore count up in different amounts.

Today in history, we created a school and church timeline! Can your child remember when our school and train station were built? We also explored real artefacts like log books and admission registers—ask them what they learned! 📜

Special Stories 📚 We had a wonderful time sharing our special stories with our friends. We talked about what makes our books special, why some books are thought to be holy books and what we do to look after them.

We explored our fantastic 'Farm in a Box' from The Country Trust and Warburtons! The children used their senses to investigate mystery 'feely bags' and put their oracy skills into action describing what they felt.🌾

Our speller of the week in Year 3 is Laiyla, she has worked hard not only at school, but at home to aim high and reach her targets 📚

Fantastic weather for PE today, practising under arm throws 🎾

In science today, we are looking at rock formation using chocolate. Our biggest challenge was not to eat it!

Our star reader of the week in year 3 is Sophia. She has not only returned her book signed, read multiple times but also shown excellent understanding of her chosen book. Well done ✅
