We are working hard on our handwriting this afternoon!

Year 4 are Attendance H.E.R.O.s!

Music with Junior Jam introduced contrasting musical articulation on keyboards. The children focused on staccato (short, detached notes) and legato (smooth, connected notes), learning how these hands-on techniques dramatically alter a piece's style.

Year 3 and Year 6 have been busy this morning walking to deliver our Harvest donations to The Billy Project - well done everyone for showing our Values in Practice.

Comparing mass in maths. Our key vocabulary is heavier and lighter.

More fab skeletons.

Well done to our award winners this week - 9.10.25

Great work in Maths today! Year 1 successfully used number lines as we conclude our Place Value to 10 unit. They were brilliant at placing numbers and calculating the 'jumps.'

Huge thanks to Blackburn with Darwen Council for a fantastic recycling session today! We learned how to sort our rubbish and discussed the impact of littering. We are now recycling experts!

A huge thank you to Blackburn with Darwen Council for today's fantastic recycling session with our Year 4 pupils!

Lola is this week’s speller of week. Well done Lola!

Learning about The Lord’s Prayer in preparation for our special visitor on Friday.
