Hi all. As you know we had a trip to the Roman Museum yesterday and we had a wonderful time. We got to try on Roman armour and the children loved it.

We have been learning about Bonfire Night today. We tried some Parkin at snack time.

Yesterday we were archaeologists! We investigated Stone Age poo. We measured it, described it, and took it apart to work out what foods were eaten in the past! We had a lot of fun, even though some of us found it disgusting.

We have had a great morning and mostly managed to miss the weather. We are about to start our session which is about dragons. We will post more pictures on our return.

Our day at Clitheroe Castle was fantastic. I hope the children have told you about everything they got up to. The children all behaved well and I know will have learnt lots although the lady was impressed with the knowledge they already had.

We have been learning about Ancient Greece. Today we created out our Agora which means market. We became Athenian citizens going about our days. Ask us about our roles.

Yesterday we were learning that the Stone Age lasted for approximately 3.4 billion years! We went outside with our base 10 to help us understand how long ago this actually was. The children were amazed! They had a great time exploring the concept of time.
