Year 6 are having a fabulous World Book Day!

This afternoon we have been exploring charcoal in our art lesson.

We are enjoying taking part in activities based on the book ‘A Star in the Jar’ to celebrate World Book Day.

In Science we have been making circuits. Ask your child what they have learnt about electricity so far.

Amazing costumes today! Thank you for the support from home :)

This morning we have been looking at what traits make a good friend.

World Book Day 2025 in Year 2. Wow what an incredible effort every single person made today. We really appreciate the effort you have gone to with the costumes and the jar competition. Thank you!

Lots of fun at our pen party this afternoon. We have been practicing our ‘backwards forwards’ drawing technique, drawing a star with patterns!

Happy world book day!

Bob and Doc have stolen Miss Keegan’s gold ring! Can you help us find it?

We really enjoyed our worship in church this morning to celebrate the start of lent and today being shrove Tuesday. We talked about why we eat pancakes today, what we may give up for lent and how Christians around the world celebrate.

We have been looking at magnetic and non magnetic objects in provision.
