Decomposing shapes.

What a fantastic art lesson yesterday! We have been exploring the exciting technique of Impasto, applying thick layers of paint to create texture and depth. We focused on recreating a small section of Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Wheat Fields with Cypresses’

The girls had a great day representing St. Aidan's at the RE Pupil Conference yesterday. They enjoyed making Lego models in response to Bible stories and answering many Big Questions about them.

We have been creating our own interpretations of the salvation this morning. Look out - there is more to come on this.

Lots of busy bees in Reception - 20.5.25

After half term we have an artist coming in to help us create St Aidan’s own version of the Big Frieze. Reception are working on the Creation section. We have been coming up with ideas for it today.
