In their second Junior Jam Computing session, Year 4 explored functions—the building blocks for efficient coding. They learned how these smart tools save repetition and make algorithms cleaner, using both visual Blockly and text-based Swift. Well done!

A Hands-On Look at Islamic Faith: Today, Faith Week exploration centered on the practice of Salat (Islamic prayer). After studying the different names and times of the daily prayers, the children then created their own prayer mats.

Faith Week - Day 1. We focused on Judaism and their traditions. We had a brilliant time getting hands-on to mix, knead, and braid our own delicious Challah bread for Shabbat!

Next, the children designed their biscuit package by drawing their design onto a net. They then cut out the net and put the pieces together to form the final package.

DT Week continues! Today, Year 4 turned into little bakers!

Year 4 kicked off DT Week with a tasty biscuit investigation today. After sampling, they moved into a critical analysis, evaluating and describing the packaging, texture, and look of each biscuit, while also considering its target audience.
