Today we went on a local walk to look at different habitats and micro habitats. The children had so much fun with some even saying “This is the best day ever!”. They showed excellent behaviour and learnt lots about our science topic.

This afternoon we have been scientists. We have been observing sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks in water to see if they are impermeable or permeable. We have enjoyed experimenting and adding new words to our vocabulary.

Our topic this term in Science is Living Things and Their Habitats. Yesterday we went to investigate what microhabitats we could find on our school grounds. The children loved exploring using their magnifying glass.

What a wonderful day at Liverpool World Museum! We began with an Ancient Greek workshop. Then we experienced a Brilliant Bugs lesson. The day continued with a dinosaur and evolution walk and an exploration of the aquarium.
