Know It Week - We’ve been busy testing out our sticky knowledge. We did a google quiz which marked our answers as we went so we all got instant feedback on our learning.

Our Year 5 data scientists celebrated Earth Day with a ‘Google Quest’. They used AI to help protect a local village from flooding by tracking weather patterns and water levels. A brilliant look at how technology can solve real-world problems. Well done!

Our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils had a fantastic visit from our local PCSO officers today! They delivered an engaging session on phone and online safety, and we were so impressed by how well the children listened and participated.

Lights, Camera, Action! We were delighted to welcome a film crew to St. Aidan’s today to capture how we use Google in our classrooms. The crew was incredibly impressed by our tech-savvy pupils and their digital skills!

In their second Junior Jam Computing session, Year 4 explored functions—the building blocks for efficient coding. They learned how these smart tools save repetition and make algorithms cleaner, using both visual Blockly and text-based Swift. Well done!

Year 5 began their Junior Jam iDebuq unit (iProgram Session 1). They learned how computer programs work before creating shapes using code and then debugging existing programs to identify and fix errors.

Today we have enjoyed our first Junior Jam session! Every Friday, we will be learning Spanish, Computing and Music. We had so much fun today and did some super listening to our new teachers!
