Image of To celebrate Poetry Week, Yr 2 and Yr 3 pupils have been mixed into groups to participate in various poetic activities. My group activity gave the children the opportunity to watch different types of performance poems and discuss what made them special.

Image of A huge thank you to these boys who took the lead in our RE session this week. They came and spoke to the class about their own experiences of the Hajj and became the experts in our lesson.

Image of Our day at Clitheroe Castle was fantastic. I hope the children have told you about everything they got up to. The children all behaved well and I know will have learnt lots although the lady was impressed with the knowledge they already had.
