We all smile in the same language at St. Aidan’s. Today we discussed that there are 8 languages spoken in Reception. Each week we will focus on one.

To celebrate Poetry Week, Yr 2 and Yr 3 pupils have been mixed into groups to participate in various poetic activities. My group activity gave the children the opportunity to watch different types of performance poems and discuss what made them special.

A huge thank you to these boys who took the lead in our RE session this week. They came and spoke to the class about their own experiences of the Hajj and became the experts in our lesson.

Our day at Clitheroe Castle was fantastic. I hope the children have told you about everything they got up to. The children all behaved well and I know will have learnt lots although the lady was impressed with the knowledge they already had.
