Year 1 working extremely hard in all areas. We have started our work on castles, wrote lots of words in English and have even been learning to write numbers as words in Maths. Well done year 1 on a great week.

In our PSHE this term we are looking at me and my relationships. Yesterday we looked at a range of emotions. We found out that we all react differently to emotions and that it is okay. We used a circle time and role play to help us understand this.

Today in RE, we're learning about the harvest!

This term we have Blackburn Rovers in to teach us Gymnastics. Today we have warmed up by stretching and playing games. Then we used various equipment to balance and jump in different shapes. Well done Year 3!

Our topic in Maths is Place Value. Today we have been partitioning numbers to 100 using the base 10 equipment and our part - part - whole models. Great work Year 2!

During English Children have been reading and adapting The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. The children even spent some time building their own Iron Man.
