Wednesday Talk Assembly

Multiplying 2-digit by 1-digit.

This week we have been reading the story of the lost sheep. We read the book and then discussed how we are still loved even when we don’t make the right choices and how we can turn our behaviour around. We hope you like our display.

Today the children gave Miss Kay instructions on how to make a jam sandwich! They loved it and we even got to eat one at the end.

Using a method to work out multiplication.

Germs! Having noticed a number of children putting their fingers in their mouth all the time, we decided to explore a germs journey. Mrs Holden led a mini experiment to show them how germs can be transported and how we can get rid of them.

In English we have been looking at instructions! The children had a go at instructing Miss Kay on how to draw a flower. This was tricky, as we realised how precise we have to be to make sure we get the correct result.

In Science this week, we have looked at grouping materials. We used our knowledge around properties from last week to help us.

Analysing evidence in history.

Today in science we have been learning all about the human skeleton. We have made our own skeletons and labelled the different bones.

Having fun at lunchtime.
