Activities in provision allow the children to become active and independent learners. It is lovely to see the friendships that are evolving and the progress the children are making.

How amazing are our junk model creations. They wanted to bring them home but we decided to recycle and use them again. They even added magic codes to give their creations super powers.

This morning we have tasted different fruits and vegetables to decide which ones we would like to use on our tarts.

This afternoon we were excited to have the founder, Ram Gupta, of the IT company, Nybble come into class and talk to us about his company and gave us inspiration for future careers.

This afternoon we have completed our first challenge for Oracy October. Ask us what we would do/say when we meet someone for the first time.

Today in English we have had an experience day. We had a spooky wolf party. Ask us all about it!

Yesterday’s PE lesson on hockey skills. Photos are from the warm up.

What a busy week we have had in Year 2! Here are a few pictures to show you our learning in PE, Music, Computing and Spanish. Lexi-Grace and Alma are Blackburn Rovers stars of the week. Well done both of you, we are so proud!

Year 2 looked at other holy books today and what they mean to people of different religions.
