Year 5 had a truly wonderful trip to Martin Mere yesterday! Our pupils flourished as they connected with God's world and the lessons of the past. From mastering new skills to exploring the Anglo-Saxon area, it was a fantastic day of fun and learning.

Our digital leader training is well under way with Martyn from ClickView. We are reaching our potential as St Aidan's digital leaders. We can't wait to feed this back to classes.

Ambassadors group have been out into the community advertising our school Harvest worship. We took flyers and hand outs and left them in a range of different shops. We hope you can all make it to our Harvest Worship in school.

A huge well done to our VIPs this week who have demonstrated our school values. A big well done to you all. I really enjoyed my hot chocolate and treats with you all & hearing about what you have been achieving all week.

We put our sequencing skills to the test today by working together to create a timeline of historical events. The pupils were excellent at organising everything from the prehistoric age to the present day and understanding the passage of time.

What a special day! The students visited church yesterday to take part in the Global Week of Prayer activities. A big thank you to Reverend Alice for a fantastic experience!
