We had a brilliant afternoon! As a special reward for always making the right choices and following our 'Always Rights', the children earned a well-deserved class water fight. They had a blast cooling down and celebrating their fantastic behaviour! ๐ฆ

๐Year 1 Geography: The Five Oceans๐ This week, we have been learning all about the five oceans! We have been using maps to find where they are located and learning their names.

On Wednesday it was Miss Sprot's birthday!๐ฅณ We had the pleasure of celebrating together and she gave everyone a treat. We are really lucky to have Miss Sprot and we hope she enjoyed her birthday!

In Art, we have been using water colours to create a flower meadow. We started by painting our background and then adding our stems and flowers!๐ท๐ป They look amazing!

In Science today, we explored the parts of a plant! We took time looking closely at the roots and discussing their role. We then looked at the stem, leaves, and petals. ๐ธ๐ชด

All About Seeds! This week in Science, we explored the wonderful world of plants. We examined various seeds, noting their different shapes and sizes. The children were amazed to learn how even the tiniest seed can eventually grow into a huge plant!
