Trust activity in RE

Our RE topic this term is Easter. We are looking at how symbols help us understand the Easter story. Yesterday we played pass the parcel with different parts of the story, we then put them on order and tried some delicious hot cross buns.

The Good Samaritan

Creating a timeline based on when Christianity came to England. The children also looked at facts about Christianity and history.

This week we have been reading the story of the lost sheep. We read the book and then discussed how we are still loved even when we don’t make the right choices and how we can turn our behaviour around. We hope you like our display.

Bishop Philip leads special Advent worship

Yesterday Bishop Philip led a very special worship about Advent being a time of preparation for Christians. It is always fantastic to have Bishop Philip in school. He also danced with Year 1 during their PE session! Reverend Cath enjoyed taking part too.

90th Birthday Celebrations for St Aidan's Church

This weekend marked the 90th birthday celebrations for our St Aidan's Church. We represented school by sending messages of best wishes and sent two pre-recorded hymns which were well received by our Church community. See the video here:
