In PSHE, we have been learning about keeping money safe. Reception understood the different representations of money and what we use to keep money safe!

This term we have been learning about people who help us. We had a special visitor in today, Kirsty the Police Officer! Reception tried on some Police uniforms and even found Bob who stole my ring, in the back of the van!

Beep beep! Pip the Paramedic visited Reception this week to teach us all about how healthcare heroes help our community. The children loved climbing into the ambulance and testing out the horn!

In PSHE, we have been learning about how we can help our friends and what is the right thing to do! We learnt about the importance of kindness.

We welcomed Caitlyn the vet nurse to Reception! The children learned all about animal safety and care, from listening to rabbit heartbeats to understanding the importance of microchipping.

In PSHE, we have been learning about how we can help our special people. We talked about who is in our families and making sure we are kind to our families. Asking if there is anything we can do to help out at home.

In PSHE, we learnt about specific people who help us, understating the roles of police officers, doctors, firefighters, lollipop ladies/men, paramedics and when & why we may need them.

Today marked our final Bounce Forward session with Lyndsey from Lancashire Mind. Throughout the programme, the children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring different ways to strengthen their resilience and support their overall wellbeing.
