We had lots of fun at our Father’s Day Rhyme Time!
Reception loved their trip to the farm!
We had a fantastic day at Smithills Open Farm. We got to ride a donkey, have a ride in a trailer, feed and pet the animals, see cows being milked and explore the farm.
Reception have been learning about special places in RE.
Today we visited Church and Rev Cath taught us lots about it.
Reception DT week- Easter bonnets
This week we have: • Investigated Easter bonnets. • Designed our own Easter bonnets. • Made our own Easter bonnets and paraded them in Church. • Evaluated our own Easter bonnets.
Today Molly the Dental Nurse visited us from ‘ap smilecare’.
She taught us all about how to keep our teeth healthy and set us a tooth brushing diary challenge. Please complete this diary and then return it to ‘ap smilecare’. Your child has also been given some toothpaste and a letter about joining ‘ap smilecare’ if they are not already registered at a dentist. It is FREE for ALL children!

Pip the paramedic came to visit Reception today!
We had another very special visitor in Reception today. Pip the paramedic came to tell us all about how paramedics help us. We learnt that paramedics need lots of equipment! We also got to sit in an ambulance car.
Police Officer Page came to visit Reception today!
We had a very special visitor in Reception today. Police Officer Page came to tell us all about how the police help us. We got to try on a variety of police uniforms and sit in a police car. Officer Page also found Doc, Bob and Miss Keegan's ring. Bob and Doc are now in jail!
