Today children in Years 4,5,and 6 have brought home a free book approved by the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Integrated Care Board. . The aim of “Sam’s Diary” is to raise awareness about the signs of mental health problems in young children and provide them with strategies to cope with issues such as anxiety. Through Samantha’s story, the book emphasises perseverance in the face of anxiety and serves as a reminder that no one is alone in their struggles. It highlights the importance of recognising and addressing mental health and anxiety among children.
