What a busy week we have had in Year 2! Here are a few pictures to show you our learning in PE, Music, Computing and Spanish. Lexi-Grace and Alma are Blackburn Rovers stars of the week. Well done both of you, we are so proud!
Year 2 looked at other holy books today and what they mean to people of different religions.
Well done to Year 5 who led our harvest celebration in church today.
We finished the morning with a quiz. Ask us about what we have learnt.
We learnt many new facts about the Bible and looked at Bibles written in many different languages.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Bible exhibition at the Gospel Hall this morning.
Being spies to find out about Roman villages. Ask your child what they have learnt about Roman villages today.
This afternoon in art we are using viewfinders to pinpoint different parts of a pattern.
Our Sports Crew have been hard at work today during lunchtime to make sure all the children had a fun, safe and enjoyable environment to play. Also rocking their new jumpers!
Learning through play in our provision. Over the last few weeks we have been working hard on sharing, taking turns and how to react when things don't go our way. Board games have proved a great way to encourage this learning.
Free choice play across a range of our activities.
Last week we began learning about Harvest. We discussed what we were thankful for and what happens at Harvest time. In preparation for the festival we made fruit from clay which is now on display in the hall.
