Nativity over and out! Year 2’s last ever nativity and what a nativity it was. Thank you so much to all the parents and carers who joined us for our Wriggly Nativity. We hope you loved it just as much as we did and are now feeling more festive.
Working in pairs today! Super stars Year 5.
Mini Christmas Bible Exhibition Today we had a visit from Ken to learn all about the real story of Christmas.
As part of our RE topic, Ken visited us to deliver a Christmas Bible exhibition. We learnt what Christmas is all about and enjoyed taking part in different activities.
In Maths, we are now subtracting using a part part whole model. Look how clever we are!
Our last gymnastics session of the half term - well done year 6!
In our PE lesson this afternoon, we have practised different gymnastics positions and put them together to create a routine.
Today we have been learning how to write code, to make the robot move, using the Sphero app with Junior Jam.
Beauty and the Beast
We also looked at the fish and insects that live in the river. We talked about their life cycles which links to what we are learning in our science lessons.
We were taught about water safety and enjoyed acting out different scenarios.
We enjoyed our trip to Witton Park yesterday and were very lucky with the weather! Emily from Ribble Rivers Trust helped us to identify many features of rivers.
